I have now returned from my trip and I would like to thank you and your team for the excellent service throughout our stay. Everything worked very smoothly from the collection of the train tickets at Hong Kong Kong airport to the tours and redelivery to Beijing airport at the end of our stay. Thank you for a wonderful time in Beijing. It was a really nice week full of experience and we all enjoyed our visit in China.

The most memorable attraction was to visit and walk on the Great Wall at Mutianyu. That was great. We also enjoyed visiting the Temple of Heaven, and it was very interesting to walk around there and watch all the people and their activities on a Saturday morning. The Forbidden City was beautiful, so was the Summer Palace. You can be proud of all your attractions.

Mr. Sam was an excellent tour guide. He had lots of knowledge of your attractions, he was very service mind and flexible. He was also very friendly and helpful. The driver was also a very service mind and friendly man.

We just live in one hotel during our visit, Wangfujing Grand Hotel. That was a very nice hotel with lots of facilities for all the family members. The service was very good, and the room vas also very nice. The food was delicious. The view from the hotel was great.

I think it is fair to say that we all enjoyed our trip to China very much, and are very satisfied with your service. All the guides were friendly and helpful. Further comments are below.
Attraction: For our family, it was taking our youngest daughter to her orphanage in Xian. After that, I personally would say the Xian city wall and Xian in general. I think it was very interesting seeing the contrast between Xian and Beijing. Finally, visiting Yangshuo was special for the chance to see a more rural side of China.
Tour Guide: Ling (Xi'an) very personable, friendly, and gave a lot of personal insight into the culture and attractions

Attractions: Great wall and terracotta army are the most memorable attractions.

Guide: By far was Vivaldi, in Shanghai, for his flexibility, interest, his service, his conversation. He was very good.

Hotels and Meals: All of them were good

Thanks. We did have a wonderful time. You were very much a part of the special memories my family have taken away from the visit to your beautiful and bountiful country.

Attractions: Whilst Xian was truly beautiful and inspiring the most memorable aspect was certainly the Great Wall – its scale and natural beauty was simply so spectacular. Aside from the obvious - absolutely not too be missed Beihai Lake and Lama Temple in Beijing and something they might not think off to go to the lowering of the Chinese Flag in Tiananmen Square – which is a strangely solemn occasion and well respected by the very many hundreds of people who go to watch this event.

Guide: Without doubt the best tour guide was Lee (your guide who took us to Xian) she was well informed and so passionate about her work which was infectious.

Hotels and Meal: We loved the Holiday Inn hotel in Shanghai as it was excellent value and great fun, but the best and most varied food was to be found in Beijing.

Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful trip we had and the wonderful job you did on organizing it for us. Everything went very smoothly.

Hotels: The hotels were wonderful and were more than a 3 star hotel....very spacious.

Tour Guides: Our guides and drivers were great. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the first guide when we arrived. The other 3 were Coffee, Xin and Linda. Xin was unbelievable and deserves a raise. Linda was also great and Coffee. One day my husband was sick and our agenda had to be changed and Xin was wonderful. She was a big help to my husband.

The cruise was out of this world and so were the views. Accomodations were great and the staff on the boat couldn't do enough for you. I would readily recommend your organization to anyone looking for a trip to China and we would not hesitate to book through you again, if we decide to do another trip. Thank you so much for your patience in doing all the changes that we asked for.....you were excellent.

Tour guides: I think that all the guides were particularly considerate and attentive. There are many examples! The guide in Lijiang ( although a young man ) reminded me of the high altitude and the necessity of sunscreen to protect from sunburn. The guide in Dali had heard that I did not want to be in the sun and on the boat trip on Lake Erhai, positioned chairs in the shade. Claire sand two beautiful songs! All guides were attentive that I had bottled water. They all took into consideration my wishes and were flexible. They all gave the feeling of wanting to share what they knew about their country and culture. Not at all the parroting information that you can get from some guides who recite what they have learned by heart! Of all the guides, Lisa in Dali was the most knowledgeable.House Lee in Lijiang was very knowledgeable and very good company. Claire in Guilin and Yangshou was quite young but has lots of potential, as does Mary in Shanghai. I was VERY impressed by the your immediate help in the predicament on March 31st in Kunming. The guide you sent was competent and very calm.

Attractions: As to the sights I visited: I found Lijiang and Dali the most interesting (and the road from one to the other), but especially the villages nearby ( Baisha and Shaxi and Xizhou ). I think that foreigners are intereted in the Chinese way of life whereas maybe the Chinese tourists know this and are more interested in tourist 'sites'. I had wanted to visit a small village but was told that it was too far.

I understood the choice better when I wanted to change restaurants in Dali. I understand that you are worried that your clients want very clean places. Personally, I find that the guides chose good restaurants where the hygiene is fine. Finally, I could not end my comments without thanking you, Karen, for your competence, patience and flexibility. It was not an easy trip to organize and you did an excellent job. Again, thank you! I will certainnly recomend China Highlights and yourself to friends.

Hotels and Meals: The Sunworld hotel Beijing was very clean and comfortable and very convenient. We did find a huge indoor shopping center very close to the Sunworld Hotel that I thought might be worth mentioning. All of the meals were very good.

Attractions: The most memorable would definetly have to be The Great Wall!! More amazing than we could have imagined.

Tour Guide: Jerry was a very enthusiastic and informative tour guide.
