Know Before You Go
Mybeijingchina does not operate Seat-in-Coach Tours. We act as a booking agent for specialized SIC operators.
The coach will pick up and return all tour guests to their hotels within the third ring of Beijing. This may mean that guests spend a substantial time on the coach while traveling between hotels. This time onboard the coach is always included as part of the duration of the tour.
A large tour group obviously reduces the ability of the guide to answer particular questions from guests and satisfy special requests from guests.
Guests may be required to move through the attractions at a pace faster that they wish, to meet the demands of the whole tour party and the time restrictions.
If you need to catch the overnight train, you will need to check out the hotel before you start the tour and you could save your luggage in the lobby.
Seat-in-coach Tours (SIC) may not suit everybody’s requirements. If you are expecting something different or prefer to a more flexible tour, our Beijing private tour packages and private day tours are a better choice.
Questions & Answers
How many people are there in a group?
Our groups are small groups at about 10 passengers in a 22-seat air-conditioned coach with professional drivers.
How about the guide?
The guides are registered English speaking tour guides shared by all group members. A tour group obviously reduces the ability of the guide to answer particular questions from guests and satisfy special requests from guests. Please be aware in advance.
How about the guide and driver?
We use the air-conditioned 22-seat King Long coach. All the coaches are licensed with insurance. Drivers are also licensed and most of them are locals, familiar with the traffic conditions.
Are there any tourist shops included?
There are one or two shopping opportunities each day. These shopping stops provide income for the guide and driver. All shopping is not compulsory.
Is hotel pick-up included?
We offer pick-up service at your hotel located within the third ring road in Beijing. We will call or leave you a message the night before your tour to confirm the pick-up time. You are suggested to get to the nearest place to boarn on the bus if the location of your hotel is beyond the third ring road. Our travel advisors will then give you detailes.
