Dear Chery,
We loved our trip-the arrangements, hotels etc were great!. We wanted to specifically mention Kathy our guide in Xian. She was excellent, very accommodating of Susan Lentz who had trouble walking and she arranged everything so she could see all the sights. She was extremely knowledgable and was one of the highlights of the trip! Thank you for giving her to us as our special guide to Xian-she made it come alive! Renee Lentz, Susan Lentz and Donald Hawley We also wanted to commend your guide in Shanghai-Jeffrey. He was truly wonderful-again taking good care of Susan Lentz so she did not miss a single thing. He suggested great restaurants and great shopping-he was generous and interesting. He also was extremely interesting and informative. We enjoyed his company and he made us feel at home in China-we cannot wait to go back. We believe Jeffery is excellent and cannot say enough good things about him! Thanks again for giving him to us!!!

Dear Candy,
Thank you for making the arrangements for my visit to Shanghai. Everything worked smoothly and I enjoyed my time there. This trip to Shanghai was part of a two and a half week trip to China. The first part was spent in Chengdu as my daughter had been working at the Wolong Panda Research Centre. We had moved from the area before the earthquake but realise how lucky we have been. My daughter is very upset at the loss of some of her Chinese friends. We spent time in the Three Gorges, arranged by Morgen of China Highlights, and enjoyed this. We also enjoyed our visit to Xian. The countryside in Guizhou is beautiful. Shanghai was quite special especially the Old Town. The only disappointment in the whole time was that the trip to Suzhou and ZhouZhang was spoilt by spending over two hours in the silk shop at Suzhou so that we only had a short time in ZhouZhang(It was an group tour organized by another travel agency). Overall my trip was a great success so thank you for your part in the arrangements.

Dear Candy,
Sorry for my late reply, but I've been crazy busy at work since I got back and have not had the time to respond to any of my e-mails! Both Kristoffer and I had a truly amazing time in China! Thank you so much for a well organized trip, and wonderful memories for a life time. However, we really enjoyed the Great Wall and the hiking trip by Li river in Guilin, that was definitely a hit. 2. Linda in Beijing, no doubt about it. She was outstanding in every possible way. Her personality, knowledge, english skills.. Just everything. 3. Most of the meals we had where all up to standard. Also, in regards to the hotels. The only hotel we did not enjoy so much, was the one in Yangshuo, due to mold in the bathroom (mushroom growing out of the shower) the breakfast only Chinese, except for some toasted bread.5. In regards to Guilin/Yangshuo I would say that it's definitely worth it to do the hiking instead of the ferry ride, as you pass through local villages and meet local people, something you would not get to experience if you took the ferry. You get a completely different impression of everything. 6. Yes, definitely! When I have more time. Candy, I will for sure post some of our pictures on your website - we took about 1400 pictures all together. Once again, thank you for a most wonderful and memorable trip to China! Best,
Channie
Dear Candy,
The most memorable attraction we visited was the Yangtze Three Gorges cruise. Our guide in Hong Kong—Michelle. Michelle was extraordinary—when we arrived in Hong Kong she met our flight and we had too many bags for the van so some bags had to go in the front seat. Michelle sent us off with the driver and she took a bus to the hotel where we met to discuss the next day’s activities. After our first delightful day we had most of Tuesday to ourselves so Michelle made some suggestions for Tuesday activities and we had a delightful time. She took us to the airport and helped us check in for the flight to Xian—she was able to obtain us seats in the exit row which provide much more leg room. We just had a wonderful time with her and she provided a great tour of Hong Kong with us. We have some friends who have expressed interest and we will provide your contact information as well as offer them our 5% discount. Wear comfortable shoes! Do not be concerned about water; your guides provided us with bottled water throughout each day and the hotels and river cruise boat provide complimentary water each day also. Bottled water is plentiful and reasonably priced throughout China. Pack some travel pre-moistened hand wipes. If traveling by air within China be sure to pack all liquids in your checked baggage regardless of size. For the adventurous: take a bicycle tour of Beijing. The afternoon tour we took included some of the narrowest streets in the Hutong behind the antique market—we also rode on the main streets with all of the Beijing riders who were most courteous to us. It was exciting and fun.

Dear Karen,
Sorry to be so late in responding! Yes we had a great time in Guilin, and Foster and our driver were very helpful. I liked the addition of the Ancient Town very much, although I had also liked the Cave attractions we saw last time. Maybe if we have another visitor we will stay longer and combine them all! Thank you for again helping us with a lovely little vacation.
Best regards, Sara
Hello Eva,
I just got home yesterday after a most joyous 31 day cruise. We began in Hong Kong which was simply fabulous and stayed in the Salisbury Y (great value, location and amenities - highly recommend this hotel) and then all aboard HAL's Statendam where we cruised to ports in China, Korea, Japan, Russia and Alaska before reaching home. China Highlights certainly was a positive part of our epic adventure and hearing about the history and modern and recent developments in Shanghai, Xian and Beijing added to our wonderment of China's growth and progress. Thank you for your help in arranging our itinerary and I will make a definite recommendation for you and your company on www.cruisecritics.com .

I just wanted to let you know that I made it home safely to San Diego. I want to thank you so much for a great tour in Beijing. You are a wonderful tour guide. I will be sure to recommend China Highlights in the future to anyone I know who is traveling to China. I wish you much success in your law school studies. I hope that if you are ever in California you will give me a call.
Best wishes,

Dear Alex
Yvonne and I are now back at home in Canada. We would first like to say how sorry we were to here about the earthquake and our prayers are with you all. The reason that we are writing this letter is in regards to our trip to Guilin and the service your company provided us while we were visiting. It was excellent, far beyond our expectations. We would like to Thank China Highlights for making our trip unforgettable.
Most of all we would like to Thank Vivian, who did an excellent job. We have travelled to many places and we have never had a BETTER guide than Vivian, ( our driver also did a great job).
We will recommend your company, and Vivian to all our friends and family in Canada. Please make sure that Vivian gets this e-mail, we want her to know how much we appreciated her hard work. Our next trip to China will be in 2010 and we look forward to dealing with China Highlights again. We miss you Vivian and look forward to seeing you again.
Thank-you and Best Regards
Yvonne and Rob
Dear candy,
I recieved your letter about out China trip. We enjoyed it very much. For me the stone forest was the most interesting and the Li river cruise. My husband was the trip on the Yangtze . Coert enjoyed every thing. The best guide we had was in Guillin . Her English was very good and tried to show us a lot. The nicest hotel was in Lijiang . The only thing to say is we spend a lot of time at the airports. Always too early and ca. 1 hour delay by the inland flight that is waistet time. But all together we enjoyed it very much and if we met persons in Hallond we sure will recommend you. Thanks

Dear Ms. Eva,
Sorry for the late reply. I am a little busy with my work. Now I'm sending this mail from my daughter's email account. I really enjoy the stay in china. It's very relaxing like I have been out of my daily boring work as I'm busy all day long. I like all the things I have met and saw in china especially the visit to the great wall and the walk through the forbidden city in beijing and the walk through the yu-yuan garden in the shanghi. I think it would be better if you could manage to assist the elderly with something for the visits like the walk through the garden. I suppose this would be impossible as the places are the ancient precious ones. As for the most outstanding tour guide, I, my mom, and my grandmom liked the tour guide on the walk through the forbidden city, I think his name is David. As for the hotels, We want to know why the hotel had been changed to red-world hotel instead of the one that had been suggested in the iternary. The breakfast there is really a bad one. Every other hotels and meals are fine and delicious. I have already told my friends and relatives about your company and they said that they would take the tour through your company if they have a chance to visit china. I haven't had the photos taken in china with me for the time. I will upload it some times later. Regards,
Ms. Khine Khine Zin
