Dear Sunny,
The Yangtse River Cruise was the unforgettable attraction of our trip. In Guilin, HE LE as 'Renaud ' was very friendly, competent, I think he make our Guilin stay a very lasting souvenir. I would say that WU Wei as 'Sabine' was very appreciate by the group in Shanghai. Except the Lu Shan Hotel in shenzhen, all the hotels were comfortable and meet 4 stars standard. The Lu shan hotel has old rooms, it was incredible to hear all nights the noise of the streets, or the neighbor room. In USA, the Lu Shan Hotel rooms would be rated 2-3 stars. Of course we recommend your company to my friends or colleagues We had very greats moments in china and very appreciate the perfect way we had in our trip.

Dear Eva,
Thanks you for booking such a lovely trip to China. Everything went smoothly, with good hotels, good food, good guides and drivers. You did a great job. I need one thing. Please provide me with the airline ticket numbers (16 digit), booking class, and seat numbers for two of my children, Sarah Elizabeth Bleicher, and Aaron Joel Bleicher. My China Highlights tracking code:H80607009. Again, my thanks and best wishes.
Joel Bleicher
Good morning Elaine,
We were amazed by the Ling Yin temple in Hangzhou. My daughters liked a lot Iris(tour guide in Hangzhou) they have the same age,my wife was interested by Jimy because of the big historical knowledge,I preferred Lio because he showed us the nowdays china. Yes we are satified of hotels and meals,up to us the best hotel was in suzhou and the best restaurant was the second one in suzhou in the tea house. we were not satisfied by the tea factory,we saw just the enter, the presentation of tea and the shop,it would be more interesting to visit some part of production.
Kind Regards,
Ernesto Zanfrini
Good Morning Elaine,
The most memorable attraction was the roasted dog hanging from the meat hook at the farmer's market. It wasn't on the itineary, but along with the smell of fish, meats, and human bodies in a confined and humid environment it made for an memorable experience. The reed flute caves, the cruise along the Li river, and the cooking class was very enjoyable. The tai chi class would have been better if conducted in an enclosed and air conditioned gym. Our most outstanding tour guide,Vivian, was the only tour guide and she was very nice and professional. The Bravo was satisfactory. The paradesa had good location and the layout was nice, but the bathroom had only a shower stall that did not keep the water inside. They also had problems with suddenly losing power to that part of the hotel. Thank you for your assistance, I had an enjoyable time on the tour.
Regards, Audric.
Dear Sunny,
We have interlined our responses in blue below. We would also just like to send a special thankyou to you Sunny, now that we have completed our trip, and all your organization went extremely well. Well done and hope maybe one day we will return, and therefore have contact with you again. Now that you have had time to reflect on your China trip, we are hoping that we could get your final thoughts on your tour. We trust that you had a great time but we are always looking for ways to improve. We'd be very grateful if you could take a few minutes to complete this evaluation form so that we can continue to improve our service and understand our customers better; or if you prefer, you can just share your thoughts on your overall China experience with us. Thank you for helping us to help you. The Terracotta Warriors, the hutong tour and lunch with local family, our day trip to Longi rice terraces and Li River cruise. We found them all special in their own way. Emily(Beijing) – always smiling, lovely and caring, nothing ever too much trouble; Chris(Xian) – funny, easygoing, direct and down-to-earth; Lilli(Guilin) – bubbly, personable, fun and happy-go-lucky, caring, felt like one of us; Lemon(Shanghai) – intelligent, organized, lively, funny. They were all always willing to assist and we found them all to be very honest, friendly, informative and enjoyable company. We would like to make special mention of Ricky, our driver in Beijing. He was the only driver who spoke English throughout the tour. He was very friendly and entertaining, and along with Emily, made that section of our tour fun and much more enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised and very happy with the standard of hotels throughout our holiday. Both the hotels and meals were of a very good standard throughout. We had been advised to upgrade our usual standard of accommodation by an additional star rating but found that the ratings in China and Australia are not dissimilar. They were all of a very high standard, so thank you for your patience with me when choosing and your recommendations were much appreciated. Yes, we already have been recommending your company to our friends and relatives back here. There were no problems encountered at all with any of our arrangements throughout China, which is certainly a credit to you and your organization and very impressive to us. We were very impressed with the organizational skills displayed throughout, whether it be sightseeing attractions, restaurants, shows, etc. There were no delays anywhere and all went well. The Chinese people, with whom we had contact, were all very friendly. Travellers really need to do their homework as to what may interest them before booking their holiday, as I believe a lot don’t and leave it totally up to travel agents. I found my research to be of great benefit to us, as this is how I discovered a few of the attractions we visited, not included in every tour, and would have been greatly disappointed to have missed them. Some of these attractions we felt are ‘not-to-be-missed’ include - the Hutong tour and lunch with a local family in Beijing was a great idea of yours and very worthwhile, a visit to the Muslim Quarter Bazaar was an eye-opener, the night tour of the lakes in Guilin was very pretty, a stopover in Yangshou and a visit to the countryside to a local family’s home was a great insight and worthwhile, the show “Impressions of Li San Jie” is highly recommended, a day trip to the Longi rice terraces at Longsheng was very impressive and memorable for us, the Shanghai Acrobatics Show is highly recommended, and the Huangpu River cruise at night to see the Bund lit up and Oriental Pearl TV Tower at night were worthwhile also. Some of the best food we found was our visit to the elderly couple in the hutongs and our last night in Shanghai. Our guide, Lemon, took us to a lovely restaurant in Huahai Road, which was probably overall the best restaurant we visited and most delicious food. Not sure of the English name.

Dear Candy,
I just got back from China late on Friday. The whole trip was wonderful, in spite of the illness. I want to thank you for all your help in arranging it. I also want to tell you how great Lily and Leo were during my stays in Guilin and Yangshuo, especially when I was sick. The activities were well chosen and I wish I could have stayed longer.
Best Regards,
Ron
Dear Candy,
How are you? I send you the picture and the following testimonial, which you may want to put on your homepage. Thanks for everything you did.
Dear Candy, we just came back and the first thing we've had to do, was to thank you for the wonderful time we've spend in China. We are very sad that we had to leave already. We traveled so many countries so far, including some Asian countries as well, but this experience topped it all. Every stay was unique and overwhelming. The hotels in Xian and Guilin were very nice and the service personal more than welcoming. Our guides made us feel safe and we had not to worry about anything. Their knowledge seemed infinite since they had an answer to every single question. The drivers were driving so safe, that even we had to ask them to drive a little faster. The sights you selected were all very interesting and the organization perfect. When our flight could not land, you called the cruise and it waited for us over 2 hours. You made all this possible and we really appreciate your tremendous time and effort. The cruise Victoria was one of the best experiences we've had. Every single person on the boat enjoyed the stay and the cruise staff made us feel like in heaven. Every selected restaurant you selected fulfilled our expectations or even exceeded them. Especially, the food at the cruise was amazingly delicious. We were more than happy with all arrangements you've made and can't wait to book our Tibet tour with you next year.
Thanks,
Heiti and Marc
Karen,
The tour guide that I did not mention by name was Peter Pan. He did a great job! They are did. I can not say enough good things about the tour guides. They were all flexible, friendly, and helpful. Allen in Beijing and Ryan in Shanghai did a tremendous job of helping us. They made arrangements for the opera and the acrobats and made certain that our transportation needs were met. There were simply wonderful. I would recommend them all to my friends.
Lyn,
The Beijing Peninsula and the Intercontinental are both wonderful hotels. The service, quality of food, and the accommodations were lovely. I think if we had to choose we preferred the Intercontinental. (They make the best Appletini I have ever tasted.) The staff was incredibly helpful when we needed to ship home some gifts we had purchased. The service was slightly better at the Intercontinental. Please feel free to use my comments on your website. Your company provided great service. Your tour guides were knowledgeable, helpful, flexible, and “fun.” So thank you.
Dear Elaine,
To choose the most memorable attraction would be difficult, but definitely the great wall was an experience. Guilin, Longsheng, Dali and Lijiang were all favourites with us as well. The most outstanding tour guide would be Emily from Beijing. She was definitely our favourite and if you could please pass on our recommendation to any future customers. The hotels and meals were all up to standard. We loved the hotel in Dali and Beijing. The Lijiang hotel was a bit disappointing but it was okay Would definitely recommend your company to our friends and family.
Katherine
Candy,
Thanks for the lovely bookmarks you sent through Steve Coopersmith, and thanks for all the arrangements for our time in China. We are still talking about it with our friends and family. The hotels were all great, the cruise on the Yangtze delightful, we saw many fascinating sights, the guides were great (Ann in Xi'an and Lucy in Shanghai were especially good), help from all the guides at the airports was most appreciated, and so many wonderful things to see. I especially appreciate the way you helped my father locate us via Ann's cell phone in Xi'an. He is 81 and was anxious about our welfare following the news of the earthquake. Once he knew we were okay, he was quite pleased with himself for hunting us down. I would not hesitate recommending you and China Highlights to others. Trust this finds you and yours well and looking forward to the excitement for China of having the world on your doorstep for the Olympics very soon! We will be watching!
Thanks again,
Wanda Lindsay
