Sunny, I had the best time of my life on a vacation, as you know from my trip plan I have a friend who lives in Guilin and works in Yangshuo. She is my girlfriend and fiance, we enjoyed our experience together, and appreciated the tour service. When friends and family ask about touring China I recommend China Highlights for planing tours of China. My parents are thinking of a visit and will uses your service if that happens. I just wanted to drop you a line to tell you what a fantastic time I had on my trip and how much I appreciate your work, and the work of the wonderful guides you provided. Rita in Beijing and Adam in Shanghai (i can't remember their Chinese names unfortunately)were both great, reliable, informative, personable, everything a person could want. I really liked them both. Also, although she doesn't work for china highlights, I thought I should tell you that my tour guide on my second day in Xian Sharon (qianqian), was terrific. She actually made me feel like a friend, rather than just another silly tourist. If you ever open up and office in Xian, you should definitely acquire her services, she was really good. I must admit, you really take care of your clients; the hotels were much better than i was expecting and the tours were so well organized, I didn't have to worry about a thing. My only criticisms would be the westernized buffet lunches which were good but I would prefer to eat more authentically, but that's just me. Secondly, the stops at all the shops between sights at times became tiresome but I understand that tourism is a business like any other and that this is how people make their money. Anyway, overall definitely a job well done and I will definitely recommend your services to friends in the future. Dear Karen, I just realized that the picture I sent was taken in Xian, not Guilin. We had so many wonderful experiences that sometimes they all seem to run together and I have to think back carefully to remember what we did in each city we visited. We have so many pictures of Bailey with children he met in each city we visited. He is very outgoing and many parents asked if they could take his picture with their children. He was very happy to do this. These are the experiences we had hoped for when we decided to take him to China and the entire trip exceeded our expectations. All the hotels you arranged for us were first class. The staff were very helpful and would always write our destination in Chinese to give to the taxi drivers and of course we always had the card for our hotel so we could get back after our day's adventures. The Sofitel in Xian and the Harbour Plaza in Hong Kong were outstanding. The JC Mandarin held an oversize souvenir we had bought on our first day in Shanghai for us until we returned the last night before flying home. Only one of our flights , the one from Hong Kong to Xian, was delayed by one hour, but that didn't matter, we were still able to do everything we had planned in Xian. The airlines were prompt and efficient, the staff very courteous. I wish I could say the same for airlines in the United States. Guilin is a beautiful city. The Li River cruise was a highlight and our guide on that trip introduced us to a local guide, Tao Ping Miaina, in YangShuo who arranged a bamboo raft trip and tour of a cave for us, and also our return trip to the airport in Guilin. We had absolutely no problems. We were even surprised at how easy it is to travel independently in China. I look forward to visiting again one day.I will recommend China Highlights to anyone planning to visit China. Sincerely, Elaine

A belated thankyou for the wonderful holiday you organised in China in June this year for my husband and I. We spent an interesting few days in Beijing - the Exhibition Hall was fascinating - we could have spent hours there. What a wonderful collection of Olympics modern art they have - we would not have known anything about this building if you hadn't arranged it. The Beijing Opera was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our exhausting walk on the Great Wall! The time in Xi'an was magical - we will definately return to that city sometime. As expected the Terracotta Army was awesome, the Hot Springs beautiful (again could have spent a lot longer there), the museum fascinating and the city itself was a delight to wander around in the evening and watch the street dancing and singing. Our guide, David, arranged a Tang Dynasty Show which we really enjoyed - along with the Dumpling Banquet that you kindly offered us - lovely food! In both locations the guides were excellent - very helpful and knowledgeable. David in Xi'an deserves a special mention, nothing was too much trouble for him and even when there was a complication with our flight from Dalian to Beijing and in desperation I telephoned him, within minutes he had sorted the whole problem out. We were very grateful for his calm and commanding manner. The hotels were all good, the restaurants that you had booked all interesting and mainly excellent food. Special mention for the one in Beijing by the lake, with the fish ponds inside - sorry cannot remember the name! We would recommend the Train from Beijing to Xi'an - the luxury carriage was quite an experience! We have already recommended your organisation to many friends on our return. However there is one thing I wonder if you could help us with.. Once again my thanks for all your help in organising the holiday - we did have a wonderful time, and were looking forward to a lasting reminder in our garden here in Scotland! Kind regards, Deni

Dear Eva Thank you for everything you did to make this a great trip for Dennis and me. Our documents arrived at our hotel in Hong Kong before we arrived and our guides were waiting for us at each airport. With your services, you made this part of our visit to China extradinary.
