There were six of us, five women and one man. You were our guide and your relaxed attitude and calm manner was such a relief from the former hectic schedule we had experienced. You were so refreshing. I know that you have a busy schedule and don't have a lot of time but we would like to hear from you as to whether you can exchange the gifts Beverly purchased for her daughter. If you let her know how much the service carfare, and any incidental expenses will be, she will be glad to pay them. If you cannot do this for her it would be helpful if you could send us the name and address of the store and she might be able to deal directly with the store. Anything you can do would be helpful. Hi Paul, My family and I thank you for being our main guide through our China trip. We enjoyed the trip very much. I also liked having a local tour guide through each city. They were very knowledgeable about each area and its history. Thank you for setting that up for us. I especially like learning about the three gorges project and its implication to China. I also enjoyed seeing Guilin and Xian again and comparing them with my impression of them when I visited those cities in 1979. We also thank you for setting up baby sitting service for our two whiney kids.I don't think they would have done well in the heat and humidity all day. Besides, they rather enjoyed the freetime and swimming pool when available at the hotel. Hope the trip was enjoyable for you as it was for us. Hello Paul! It was a great trip and again we want to thank you for making all the arrangements! If you could be patient, I need to be at work in order to download the form for authorization for payment. I will be back at work on Monday, August 6th and I will sign the form and fax back to you. I wanted to write to you to tell you how much we enjoyed the trip to Guilin and Yangshuo. Our guide was "Lisa" and our driver was Mr. Bai. Both of them did an excellent job of getting us to the right places, working around the weather, and making our trip pleasurable. Victor, Ruttana and I truly enjoyed our whirlwind tour of Beijing. Everything went very smoothly and we had a great time. Thanks for the great planning. My suggestions are to have the tourguide also provide some suggestions of what to do in the evenings, after the planned activities are over… We were very fortunate that our hotel was very near some shopping areas so we were able to buy souvenirs and spend our free time wisely. I would also recommend adding in a Tianamen Square at night mini tour to agendas where it fits. Since the lights stay on until 10pm, it probably fits a lot of agendas. We stumbled across it on the way home for the Beijing Opera and my friend and I took a taxi back because it was so beautiful and moving. I am very glad the I didn't miss it! But don't worry… we had a great time and I look forward to visiting China again in the future! Dear Paul: We are back from our fabulous trip to China, and I want to thank you very much for your wonderful service. China is the ultimate storehouse of history and wonders, and your careful planning and arrangements highlighted these aspects very well. Our children benefited greatly from this trip -- it opened their eyes to the great history of China and a deeper understanding of their heritage. The hotel accommodations were great, and food was overall good. But oboe all, it was your knowledgeable and friendly tour guides who made our trip incredibly enjoyable and educational. We would like to thank, in particular, our Xian tour guide, Robin for his enthusiasm and great story telling. He was perfect!!! Dear Victor, I wanted to let you know how pleased I was with the prompt and efficient service that was provided by Clare. On short notice, she sorted thru a number of problems and really put together a great package. It is not often that you get such service anywhere and it was a real treat for me, not being a Mandarin speaker, to have Clare's help in completely organizing things for my Mother and Aunt's visit so promptly and so well. Victor, Hello from the US. Well we made it back in one piece. With all the touring and the work I had to do we were very tired. I wanted to answer your questions and also ask you to follow up with Karen (or the Frienship Store in Beijing) to see if she got my email I sent her on the carpet situation we have. I will address your questions and your inquiry on the arrangements first. I want to let you know your planning and the guides and drivers you provided were EXCEPTIONAL. The trip meet all my expectations and was outstanding in every way. Given the limited time we had, you and your company did an outstanding job of maximizing our visit. Starting with Shanghai, I want to thank you and Shin for the tremendous job you did taking care of my wife and son. You made their visit very comfortable and pleasurable. Unfortunately, I had to work, and was concerned that they would not have an enjoyable time getting around without me. I travel quite extensively, so am comfortable with differences in different countries. They have traveled abroad, but always with me. Your guide was excellent and showed them the sights and culture of Shanghai. In Beijing we were meet by Karen and our driver Yu. They both were GREAT! Great personalities and very knowledgeable of the area. We visited the City sites, the Summer Palace and the Wall as well as other memorable sites. Karen was courteous and very helpful. We had a great time and she was terrific. She also meet us on our return to Beijing and had flowers for Patti's Birthday. That was very nice and we appreciated it. Xi'an was our next stop. Daisy was our guide. She was wonderful. She helped us at all the sites. Our highlight was obviously the Warriors. They are terrific and the real goal of my trip to China. She helped us learn Chinese words and phrases and got us through many sites with a lot of fun and pleasure. Guilin was the last stop and our guide, Mo, was wonderful. The River and the different sights in Guilin were breathtaking. We truly had an enjoyable visit. The Ancient people and the River Cruise were a must see and we were glad we elected to go on this part of the trip. All the hotels, food, transportation and people we meet were wonderful. We could not of asked for nicer weather or nicer people. China is truly a wonderful country and we look forward to coming and visiting again. From the initial contact with CITS over the internet with Victor, to our leaving there was not one problem. Victor did an outstanding job of following up in Guilin when we were there and again with an email to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. Everyone's attitude, personality and knowledge was outstanding. The food was great! We were stuffed at every meal. Logan even learned to use Chop Sticks with EVERY meal. I was a bit concerned that Logan would not eat, but was surprised to find he tried EVERYTHING, and ate almost all the items he tried. We only ate at the KFC (in Xi'an) once the entire trip and that is because Logan had a craving for French Fries! Otherwise, we ate at the local restaurants for every meal. Karen, Daisy and Mo were especially attentive to Logan and he really enjoyed being with them. We would like to see them again on another trip. In closing, I will certainly use CITS again for bookings in China and would highly recommend them to others and would be happy to be a reference for anyone. Thank you again for the wonderful time.
