Dear Sir: My husband, Carbon Wolfe, and I visited Guilin on August 21 and 22. We were on a cruise/tour with Pacgate Travel, but Guilin was not included in the itinerary, so we asked to visit Guilin by ourselves during the first few days of the Yangtze cruise which left from Shanghai. Our outstanding guide was Qin Shuifa, "Simon." He was not only efficient and knowledgeable but enthusiastic and determined we see all we could in the very short time we had. We had expected to have two nights in Guilin but instead had only one due to a flight cancellation from Guilin to Wuhan on August 23rd. "Simon" wanted to be sure we saw as much as possible. After our flight arrived from Shanghai we were quickly taken to see the Reed Flute Cave, a pearl factory and inside the ancient city wall. Our "set menu" dinner was not only exceptional but bountiful. However, the best was yet to come. Simon offered to take us to see the Cultural Show and the cormorants fishing if we wished, as these were optional. We were delighted with both. Simon was so pleased with my husband's being invited to join the show that he took my camera up near the stage to take pictures. He told us exactly where to stand on the boat to watch the cormorants fishing. He was good! The next morning he and our very capable driver, Mr. Yao, drove us to the Li River were we boarded a boat for the fascinating river trip. Simon had reserved the best seats for us at the front of the boat. Though he did not sit with us, he kept in touch throughout the trip. We later decided our "side trip" to Gulin was the highlight of our trip to China and Mr. Qin certainly the best guide. We feel he should be promoted to a national guide. When he found my husband's luggage overweight he suggested he move a few heavy things to his carry-on. Please tell "Simon" how much we enjoyed our wonderful trip to Guilin due to his expert guidance and Mr. Yao's skill in negotiating all that traffic. Truly, Marjorie L. Wolfe (Mrs. George Carbon Wolfe)
Dear Victor Me and my friends have been very satisfied about CITS services. Travel has been good. Only changing that I suggest you is to stay one day less in Bejing and Yangshou, so this travel can be improve better with only 12 nghts. I think to suggest my friends about Chine travel with your company. See you and my best regards MAURO FAFOGLIA
Dear Nancy, Our two trips were very nice. My wife was very happy with Kunming and with your services. In Urumqi, I have no complaints. My guide was excellent. I have asked her to recommend a one week trip for my wife and I to visit Urumqi, Heavenly Lake, Turpan, Kashgar, etc. We would like her to be the guide for as much of that journey as possible. We are thinking about the best timing for that trip. Our guide was very good. My wife has agreed that a week must be spent to see the rest of Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, etc. Again, timing to be decided later. Also on our list is Yangtze and Guilin. So now I just have to figure out when I can take so much time off work!!! Thanks again and best regards, Mark
We appreciate your service and interest in our feedbacks. The trip went fairly smoothly for the most part and we got to see everything we wanted wheather permitting. Again thanks for asking. Y.T.

Thank you for your e mail.I had a superb time in Guilin and the tour guide you supplied Mr Chan was excellent. All the arrangements were first class and everything went smoothly. I only wished that I had allowed more time for Guilin in my itinerary. Thank you for your help. Regards MIKE HUDSON
Dear Mr Shu, I thank you a lot for your kind co-operation during our travel in China. We enjoyed a lot visiting your beautiful country. And your organisation helped us to go through all these days without problems. We would like to come back some day in Lijiang and Guiling/Yangshu and if possible in Beijing and Xian. We made these choice mainly for the area interest and not for the accomodation quality. It was the 1st time I booked by internet and you convinced me that the quality of proposed accomodation is satisfactory. Best regards O. Cecille
Ni Hao Mr. Jing, The purpose of this e-mail is to let you know how pleased I have been with the service your company has provided me in my trip planning. Paul Yin, in your English Department has been patient, thorough and extremely professional in helping me with my travel arrangements. I too, am in the travel business and can recognize and appreciate this kind of professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend Paul and CITS Guilin, to any of my friends, clients or family members who need assistance with travel arrangements to China. I will also put a recommendation on the internet. If the arrangements Paul has made to date go as well as the planning stages then I am sure that my China travel experience will be rewarding. Hi Nancy! My husband and I are now back from China, and I wanted to let you know we had a great time! Thank you for all of your hard work on our behalf, especially on such short notice. The cruise through the Three Gorges was very nice and we enjoyed our time in Beijing very much, visited just about every tourist site there. Both of the guides that met us for tours (Cindy in Wuhan and Kathy in Chongqing) were excellent, very knowledgeable, friendly, and very good English speakers. We enjoyed their company immensely. In a word, we had a great trip and hope to visit China again soon. Next time, we'll visit Guilin! Best regards, Kathy I. Kirkaldie
Dear Victor: It was nice to get your e-mail. We had a great time in China. The Qiran hotel was adequate and had a good breakfast. It was just a little far from most destinations of interest. The staff at the desk was afraid to cash some of our travelers checks because they had got wet in the rain. So we had to go to the Bank of China, where they were easily cashed. The airport to hotel transfers worked well. We found a nice restaurant near the hotel and were please to learn that nice seafood dinners in china are very reasonably priced. Taxi cab fares were also a bargain when compared to many countries. The train to Xian was great and so was the Orient hotel. The train ride to Chongqing was not quite as good because it took thirty hours. A passenger that we met told us that a better way to go, would have been to take the train to Chengdu, and then take a bus to Chongquing. These negative parts were outweighed by the beautiful scenery we saw. The rice paddies and other farms were spectacular. It made the long train ride worthwhile. The cruise ship, Yangtze Paradise, was excellent. The food and entertainment were very good. I was not sure of the expected tipping of our river guide. I asked him, but received no information. I gave him 350Y, but that may not have been enough because I thought he seemed disappointed. The Pacific Luck Hotel in Shanghai was excellent. We enjoyed our stay there very much. Shanghai is a very exciting city. We found many good shopping bargains in men's suits, and jade and pearl jewelry for women. We took an evening boat ride down the Bundt River that was very enjoyable. The train ride back to Beijing was very pleasant. The trip was very enjoyable and I hope we can return one day and visit Guilin. I can give a very good recommendation to anyone wishing to visit China.
