Our guide in Jiayuguan was wondeful, because she had lots of local knowledge as ashe lived there, and she made sure we understood her. Our guide in Xiahe was also wonderful, because she had so much speciaiist knowledge. Particular praise for our driver on the mountain roads of Xiahe.

The highlight for me was the Longman Caves. That was on my list of must-see sights for China. When we were finished, I asked to take the little boat back and Mary arranged for this.When we went to the Folklore Museum, the weather was so hot that we were the only visitors there. A guide took us around and Mary translated. Mary also took lots of pictures of me at the different sites.The driver was very efficient and nice.

I certainly made the correct decision to have China highlights coordinate my two week China trip.The trip to Guilin and Yangshuo were an excellent suggestion and one of the best parts of the trip.Your hospitality in Guilin was appreciated and at every airport and arrival/departure point your representative was there to meet me and make the trip trouble free.

Our best part is Guilin. For me, the most memorable attraction is Li River cruise & riding bicycles on the city wall in Xian. For my sister, holding a Panda is her dream. Lily was the most outstanding tour guide, because she was very friendly, helpful and attentive as if she were traveling with us. Wallace was great too & we did several of the extra things he suggested. All of the guides were very good. The drivers provided safe and comfortable travel experience and it was wonderful to have a private guide, driver and car.

Lily had umbrellas for us waiting in the morning, she bought enough for all of us. renting from the hotel would be more expensive. She walked around Yangshuo to find a laundry shop that will clean our clothes fast enough, or found places to buy apple juice for the baby(same for Johnny). Lily taught us few Chinese sayings and was checking on us and kids if they remembered that. at the end of the day we had an overview of the day - that was entertaining and useful.

Louis and I had a wonderful trip to China and all the arrangements made by China Highlights were absolutely perfect.

A very special thank you to our Guide Gerry who made this trip so memorable and worthwhile. We really appreciated having Gerry as our guide. He was such a gentleman with so much of knowledge about China's history and culture. He was extremely helpful dependable and considerate. That's was we call excellent service.

The 3 Gorges Dam cruise was one of the best ways to visit China.The Presidents Prime is very luxurious and had a staff that was always very helpful. The trip was well put together. The food in general was good.Going through the locks at the dam was interesting.

The most memorable attraction(s) on the itinerary, without a doubt, it was hiking on Hua Shan. Our guide (Yan Fan) was very informative. We modified our itinerary, and our guide was completely flexible.He was great. The driver was also very courteous.Both the guide and the driver were always on time (early, in fact).
