The best part of our cruise was the new ship that we were on. The President Prime. It really was a luxury ship and I was glad that we choose that ship. The price was fantastic and included all food and an activity each day.The cabins were spacious and pleasant to be in. Service was quick and always with a smile. The food was great at every meal and the selection of food satisfied everyone at our table.
The Xian trip was outstanding, made especially so by the great guide that we had. She was very knowledgeable and tailored our activities to what we wanted to do plus she matched things with some physical limitations of my brother-in-law. She even had a birthday cake for me at a local restaurant (see attached). Speaking of food, her choices of places to eat was excellent. I do recommend the hotel (Hyatt Regency) as it was very nice and with good service. They even had a little birthday present for me!
Michael organised an excellent trip for us. He was always courteous and helpful and very patient in the planning stages. He telephoned me in Thailand at the beginning and that was extremely helpful. He welcomed my girl-friend Pheung and me very warmly in Guilin and we enjoyed both his company and the meal he offered to us + the name seals. He worked very efficiently and all was well organised. The trip was excellent and we have very good memories to take back with us so thank you Michael.
They are many Wows in this tour, they are Reed Flute Cave. Evening show in Guilin. Scenery at Great Wall. Scenery on Li River. The Longsheng terraced rice fields. The Dam at Luoyang. The Bullet Train. The Great Mosque in Xian. The Temple of Heaven. The acrobats in Beijing although many people have probably seen them before. Artefacts in Xian - both at Terracotta Army site and Shaanxi Museum.
We were very pleased with your service in Beijing, you showed us all the highlights of the city and you were very pleasant, knowledgeable easy to communicate with. It is our recommendation to anyone who wishes to use your service as they will not be disappointed.
We started by searching the Internet and we found China Highlights and we are very impressed in working with you to get exactly what we wanted. We were really really picky about what we wanted. On specific days we wanted specific things and they were very very good about getting exactly what we wanted in the order that we wanted. And then when we got here, we’ve been really spoiled by being picked up with the driver and guide and give us water and map and told us exactly what to do. And if we need a memory card or go American food from the super market, they’ve been really good about getting us everything we wanted and drop us off on time, wake-up calls. It’s been wonderful. We really enjoyed it.
We happily got the flexible individual tour we wanted. The reason we paid extra money to tour as a small family was the expectation that each guide would to be able to be flexible to meet our individual needs and interests. We could not be happier with the delivery of China Highlights and each of their city guides..They met and exceeded our standards consistently. We spent the most time with four of your guides.
We certainly remember our intersting and colourful trip to Yunnan. We can recommend to your client that it was very good value for money and we found your company highly professional in making the arrangements.
You made a great tour experience to me in Beijing and Xian last April.Your advises were great, your guides were excellent, the hotels, transportation and food arraignments were fabulous!
Lhasa was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the Tibetans. I would say to be prepared for the altitude adjustment. We both took some time to get used to it. The Potola palace is worth the 380 steps that you must climb to get to the top. Give yourself some time to get up all of the stairs. Since it is the first day we weren't really ready for the climb. But the view and the palace itself were beautiful. Of the other sites I would say the Sera monastery was with its lively debates of the monks was our second favorite. We did try the local food and my favorite was Shaptak made with Yak. It was excellent and I would highly recommend it. Overall our experience in Tibet was great.
