The tour exceeded our expectation. On reflection this was the best tour itinerary for me. Great Wall and Terra Cotta Warriors were the most memorable attraction. Our guide Robert was great. He told us so much about everything. Not just the tour but lots of history. The drivers provide a very much safe, comfortable experience. The meals were good except the restaurant in Xian. We did not think the food was very good and the place did not seem very clean. We did not have time but I would have loved to go to some of the markets.

Datong was amazing! We got stared at a little as much fewer tourists make their way that far. But the grottoes were brilliant! I really cant express how impressed I was. Some of the statues were enormous and it doesnt matter if the place gets busy as it has lots of big, open spaces. The Hanging Monastry was amazing and scary. If you're afraid of heights it may give you some trouble as there is very little between you and the open air. The nine dragon screen was a smaller attraction but I still really liked it.

Our guide, Doreen, spoke good English and was able to provide the history of the places we visited. Unlike most Beijing drivers, our driver did not drive too fast and sound his car horn all the time. We enjoyed the visit to the Hutong area of Beijing - very different to other parts of the city.We asked if we could see the Olympic Village on the return from Badaling and this was no problem for Doreen and our driver. The price was very good and we would recommend China Highlights to other Australians.

We very much enjoyed our day trip. It was a very long day but we saw many interesting and memorable places. The walk around Zhouzhuang and the gondola ride were great. Lunch in Suzhou was excellent. The guide you provided was very knowledgable and pleasant.

In respect of the cruise I was overall very impressed. The ship and the English speaking guide were very pleasant. The cabin was very good, clean and well furnished and the cabin share arrangement worked well. The meals were generally good although the standard of food at breakfast could have been better. Excursions were overall interesting - the mini three gorges excursion was particularly enjoyable.

Our guide (Jonathan) and driver in Beijing were exceptional. Jonathan's English was excellent, he was very knowledgeable, enjoyable to be with, and also did a very good job of helping us order in the restaurants. He also didn't mind extending his day to let me photograph the Bird's Nest in the evening--it is absolutely the best time to experience the place. We can not praise Jonathan enough!In fact, would it be possible for you to give us his full name or contact in case we could recommend him to others? We forgot to get his card before we left.

In relation to the tours I can not thank you enough for your contribution to making our honeymoon and holiday of a lifetime. We had a fabulous time in China. The two tours they were perfect and exceeded our expectations.

Thank you to China Highlights for giving us Jacky as our tour guide in Xian during our recent trip to China.My husband and I enjoyed this part of the trip the most, due to the relaxed nature of our tour of Xian and the flexibility and friendliness of Jacky.Not only did he ensure we had enough time at each sight, but my husband and I received marvelous insight and perception into the Chinese culture from our guide.Thank you, Jacky, for this once in a lifetime experience!

I would recommend your company, for your value for money, trustworthiness, dependability, flexibility, problem solving etc. I hope to be visiting China again as I just didn't get to see enough this time.
