Trips were all fantastic!!!! I am forwarding your contact details to Julie Williamson (work colleague) and am going to put them in our company report of who to contact for trips. Is this OK for you?
We thought that Maggie in Xian and the driver Mr. Zheng were fabulous. Thanks you so much for giving us them. I gave them all 5's. We Always felt, welcomed, informed, protected and that we had an advocate with these guides. The Hua Mountain was a WOW experience as were the Terra cotta Warriors, even the second time.
How could you not go 'WOW' over the Dazu stone carvings? To think how long ago they were carved, how long it took, the craftsmenship, the beauty and intricacy...the devotion of the people, all in a natural setting. It is wondrous! Chonqing was a little different from what I imagined. It is hard to accurately imagine a culture that is so different from your own. You must experience it to understand. It is completely different from our nearest city: the people, the culture, the food, the buildings, the shops...everything. Without hesitation we will recommend our company to your family/friends/colleagues.
Should next time we are travelling to China again, which I am thinking to visit Chiu Chai Kow next Spring/Summer time, I would consider to tour under your arrangement again. And of course, we will tell our relatives, friends and colleagues to consider travelling China with China Highlight.
Bring all kinds of joys back to home, The whole trips is A+, to have dinner with you is A++. wishing to see you soon ! We have extra room with bed for you If you come to LA, but no buffet~bkfst. HaHa :-)
We arrived at the Crown Plaza in Beijing this evening and so far everything is going OK. Had nice morning in Choncqing with Jerry our guide and the pandas were out wo we did enjoy that.
Thank you Simon - the tour was excellent, and my guide, Sara, went ”the extra mile“ to personalise my day and make it really enjoyable and interesting. Given the time I had, I can’t think of anything which could have made it better. In retrospect, I guess I wish I‘d visited The Bund, but there may not have been time, and I certainly enjoyed everything I did do!
Ms. Ruby Zhao has been our travel consultant for both tours. Ms. Zhao organized our itineraries to maximize our time, to allow ample time at the various sites, and to match us with courteous, knowledgeable, and fun guides and drivers. We appreciate her scheduling us in the Panda Keeper - International Internship Program Plan at the Panda Breeding and Research Center in Chengdu. The experience to be a Panda Keeper was amazing!
The terracotta warriors are the highlight of any trip to Xian, perhaps even to China (for me, ranks with the Wall, Forbidden City, the Shanghai Bund at night). I was bowled over by the Famen temple complex, both old and new. The new temple is simply overwhelming in its size and beauty, one of the great religious sites of the world (and I have been to many of them in Europe).
I had feedback from John and Andrea (Naitove). They told me they are having a great trip, and that their guide in Tibet was great! Please pass on this feedback.
