I was really grateful that you were available on the phone at all times and were supporting us along the way. It is always difficult when you are not in your home country and you made us feel very much welcome to China. I can truly say that we had a full and packed journey and a lot of the success is down to your patience and eagerness to help. You booked the train journey and I really appreciate the extra cabin space. I would like to say special thanks to Sean in Beijing and Jim in Lhasa, both of whom did an excellent job. Sunny, Dave and I had a fantastic trip, and your planning arrangements were great. Yes, there were a few minor problems, problems that you were able to work out. However, they turned out to be just that "minor", and not a serious determent to our trip and enjoyment. We also would be happy to recommend your services and speak to any who would like to hear of our experiences. When we sort through our photos, we will send via e-mail a photo or two to share. Hi sunny I just wanted to let you know that we had an excellent time in China. We loved each of the places we visited,particularly Guilin and Shanghai. The tour guides were knowledgeable and nice, and the drivers and the rest of China Highlights' services were wonderful. We have visited many other places in guided tours (India, Egypt, Africa...), and your organization has been by far the best I have encountered. My husband's parents are arriving to HK in just few days & we informed them that we are going to Beijing. Having said we have not done any reservation, there was a mixture of me being nervous & pressure from my husband as i am the organizer. I felt depress & helpless, i started browsing the net, I sent 5 emails to different agents & waited for someone to get back to me on the same day. Then i received an email from Mr. Morgen Mo, at first i thought that i am lucky to have recieved a reply but i was wrong, Mr. Morgen have won my trust & confidence. he even helped me plan our trip & suggested a great itinerary. The trip was booked & rranged, here comes another problem - the payment, as we are new to HK our CC is on process, i told Mr. Morgen that we will pay cash on bank transfer, but it's easter holidays so there is no way for us to send the payment. I was worried & can't sleep. Mr. Morgen assured me that all has been arranged & there is nothing to worry about, once the bank opens we can transfer the money & we did as promised. Mr. Morgen arranged a detailed & superb itinerary for us. China Highlights Travel exceed beyond our expectations because of the professionalism of Mr. Morgen. Karen, China has a great verity of sights to offer. One can only use superlatives to describe the Great Wall, The Terra Cotta Warriors, The Three Gorges and the hustle/bustle of Shanghai. The contrast between the old China reflected in the country side and the Western influence apparent in the cities was eye opening and enlightening. The background information provided by the guides provided us with insight into the old and new. Each time we look at our photos we realize how much we saw and experienced in a brief 12 days. The shows were also great. We can't wait for our next trip. Of course I should mention that all the arrangements you made which included 5 guides and drivers, 4 domestic flights with transfers, 10 nights in hotels, a 3 night Yangtze cruise, and numerous tours all came off without a problem. Each of the guides were pleasant and personable. Their English was excellent. The drivers were professional and safe. So it is hard to point to one thing about the trip that was "best" since so much of it was spectacular. Karen, also thanks for helping us arrange and plan a trip of a lifetime. I had a blast on my private tour with your company. You demonstrated excellent customer service, your driver was punctual every time, and your tour guide, Dodo, was very professional, knowledgeable and sensitive to my needs. The service was superior, all my wants and needs were met. Thank you for the great job! Overall I really enjoyed exploring Mt. Houshan, visiting Xi'an's famous touristic spots and attractions. I even got a Chinese foot massage which I really enjoyed. The best thing: The Terra-Cotta Warriors Museum was very unique and I got the farmer sign my book! It is a valuable memorabilia forever. I also got to see places most internationals do not get to see. The trip to Mt. Houshan was a lot of fun! I also enjoyed the program selection, the Tang Dynasty show and the pre-arranged meals, like the Dumpling Dinner. Unless you have fear of heights, Mt. Houshan is an incredible experience. I am so glad I picked that program. The Terra Cotta Museum was very unique and interesting, and the presentations on how to make Chinese noodles, etc at the restaurant was unforgettable. The food was always excellent. Nothing to be afraid of, the people were very friendly.

Dear Morgen The best part of the trip was the smooth organisation of our tour by China Highlights and the quality of the attractions and inclusions in the tour. Our guide, Allen, was an absolute delight. He was friendly, knowledgeable, bright and had a great sense of humour. Along with our driver, they made every moment of our tour a highlight. His love for Beijing shows at all time and makes a very pleasant change. I would like to commend Allen at the highest level for making a holiday such a terrific experience. Dear Mr. Morgen, Thank you for your help in planning and accomplishing our travel to your marvelous country. We enjoyed very much all our trip, even the cold rain in some of the days. It was a nice part of the scenery. We liked the fact that you organised all the travel keeping in with our free time, interests, hobbies and fobies. And you did it in two days - unbelieveable. We also appreciated very much your guides in every town /kind and competent and willing to help in every case/. We enjoyed the entire schedule and the fact that we had had some "free time" for getting in touch with and feeling China by ourselves. I would like to make some comments about the hotels we stayed in. The position in Xi'án and Guilin was excellent. I can't believe I have been home for more than a month and that my daughter and I left China April 7. To answer the questions you asked in your e-mail of April 6, 2007, I will try to limit my enthusiasms to only "the best". The five days on the "Victoria Queen" certainly were outstanding. The accommodations, the crew, the entertainment, the food, the tours...all were delightful. The single day "best" would be Chongqing where our guide showed initiative and took us to see the pandas first at the time they were feeding. Then she took us to the Stilwell WW II headquarters which were especially interesting to me as I have personal knowledge of the Stillwell family. Also I am old enough to remember the Flying Tigers and the controversy between Stillwell and Chiang Kai Shek. I think it intrigued our excellent guide that there were people still alive who lived through that time. The most disappointing would have to be Shanghai. Perhaps foolishly, we did not arrange for a guide although the man who met us at the airport and took us to our hotel did offer his services for the next day. We thought we could do the things we wanted to do without help and the particular person who met us had a voice which we felt would bother us if we spent a day with him. He was knowledgeable and kind but we decided against using his services. So we ended up wandering around trying to get to the Bund and then after we had found it, we had trouble getting back to the hotel. We were delighted with the services provided through China Highlights. I did not know what to expect when I made arrangements through e-mail. I could not find any comments on-line before I made the reservations and sent the money so I was most relieved when we were met at Beijing airport by the nice China Highlights sign with our names on it. From then on every arrangement in Beijing, Xian, YiChang, Jungqing and Shanghai was well done. The language skill, knowledge of the cities, the transportation (vehicles and drivers), food arrangements, etc. were excellent. As you can tell, we were very satisfied with all aspects of the trip. The xan xia and the side trips from the Yangtze were a special surprise since we feared the rise in the river would make the views less interesting. We were thrilled. Specials praise goes to the crew of the "Victoria Queen" and the programs presented by the talented crew. The hotels in Beijing, Xian and Shanghai all were excellent and the personnel were helpful.
