Hangzhou is very much as it appears in travel brochures and on various websites. Hangzhou seems less crowded than most Chinese cities we have visited. Walking in the Westlake area, both at night and during the day, was very easy and pleasant. We did spend an afternoon in the culture street downtown Hangzhou and made some excellent purchases of silks and ceramics, which seemed quite rerasonable in price.
Initially, we sent our requirements to a lot of companies, but China Highlights is now the only company we are talking to regarding our holiday as, while the prices from many operators were similar, we have been really impressed with the service Grace has provided.
Overall we really enjoyed our tours in both Beijing and Shanghai and were very satisfied.
Roads sometimes are a bit bumpy, but no problem of course.Emphasis of our tour were villages of minorities (Miao and Dong mainly) and other highlights were the Anshun excursion with Huangguoshu waterfalls, the Longshen rice terraces and of course the Karst area of Guilin and Yangshuo. All of these much recommended.

The visit of the Potala is just wonderful, containing 1300 years of boudhism history. If you don't known the name of Padmasambava or Guru Rimpoche, it very valuable to read and document a minimum about TIbet and boudhism history before, which is not simple, but so interesting. My only regret is not to spend a longer time in Tibet. I will go back to TIbet for a longer trip next year. Travelling to Tibet is a uniq experience.

I wish to inform you how very pleased I am with the very helpful communication I have had recently with Sophie Luo. It has now resulted in our booking a river cruise with her. Sophie's services have been EXCELLANT, and she is a credit to her profession! I commend both you and her for the quality of her service.
I would like to say that our Travel Advisor, Lee Li, did a very good job for us. She was quick to respond and make changes to our itinerary when requested. The phone came in very handy when one of our guides had an issue in meeting us on time due to a mechanical problem . Also, for the guides to verify pick-up/drop-off, etc. The phone made it easy to make other arrangements. All our drivers and guides were knowledgeable and very good.
The trip to Great Wall on Sunday was great. It was overcast and the weather was not ideal, however, the tour was great and met my expectations. I am glad that I went on the tour. I filled out my customer satisfaction survey that Rosina provided.
