Thank you very much for all your help and a wonderful vacation!  We really enjoyed ourselves.

Our guide in Guilin,Ann was outstanding.  She was a wonderful tour guide.  Her English was excellent and she made sure to provide us with lots of information on all the sites we saw, as well as the people and the history of the places we visited.  She was extremely knowledgeable and often pointed out the little things we wouldn't have even noticed otherwise.  She was always prompt and kept a good watch over the time.  We knew we were in very reliable hands and were very happy with her.

We had a great time.  I would just like to mention that we felt this was a great trip for adults and kids alike, so no one should hesitate bringing their children on a tour like ours - it was great!

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I really liked going to the Great Wall - nobody can understand how big and amazing it is until they're actually there and climbing on it. I enjoyed Cindy in Xi'an - she was very nice and helpful and knew a lot about the city. I really liked staying in the hotel in Yangshao and Shanghai. Both Hi Sunny,

Thank you very much for all the arrangements and hotel upgrades.    Everything turned out wonderfully.   My daughter and I were very pleased with everything.   We took advantage of every minute that we were awake in China, we never wasted any time and your guides and drivers were very flexible and accomodating: they made their best to fulfill our wishes.
 
You must be a very good manager and organizer, in spite of your age (17)!
 
I arrived home last Tuesday.    We had such a worthwhile trip.    I took 1,500 photos!

Hi Sunny,

We just got back from our Dali/Lijiang tour today. We all had a good time. The tour guides, Lisa (at Dali) and Leo (at Lijiang) were very good and professional. Leo was very friendly, patient and accomodating. The driver, Mr Foo(?), was also very good. He's friendly, courteous and always punctual.

The weather was a bit hot during our tour so we had a bit of a rough time during our golf game in Lijiang. Also, at the Jiangnanchun Hotel in Ljiang, the rooms were quite warm and stuffy as we could not turn on the aircond. It was the hotel's policy not to turn on the aircond during this period. Hence some of us had a hard time sleeping in the warm room. Leo, did a good job of helping to change some of our rooms after the first night, which helped to improve the situation a little bit.

One more thing, you mentioned that the 20kg luggage weight allowance for the domestic flight includes the golf bag. Actually the allowance for golf bag is 15kg and it's separate from the normal 20kg luggage weight allowance. We only realise this, this morning at the airport when we checked in for the Lijiang-Kunming flight. We were all afraid of being overweight so we restrained ourselves from shopping for too many things. If we had known, we would had done more shopping. Anyway, it's not a big problem. Our husbands are probably happy we didn't spend too much on shopping. Ha Ha!

Hi Angela: Sorry we did not get back to you earlier but we have just been home for a week and are getting organized. Firstly I would like to say that your support and service was second to none and made our planning and trip a very enjoyable experience. The organization was great and again made the transition to a new country easy. We really did need to learn a bit more Mandarin before going over but that is our fault and next time will be more prepared. Please see our comments below and at some point in the future I should talk about my working for/with China Highlights as an agent or escort for clients coming from the Toronto area. Here is my feedback,

1) the most memorable attraction I visited--the great wall and the terra cotta warriors
2) the most outstanding tour guide--Steffani in Beijing, just found her knowledgable and enjoyable to be around
3) the hotels and meals--Hotels and meals were all good but the restaurant I went to in Shanghai for lunch was easily the best
4) yes, I would recommend our company to your friends or colleagues.

Today is my first working day after my holidays and I am really very sad...  I enjoyed very much my time in China and one of the reasons was because our fantastic guides. Actually, I'm very happy for your collaboration and helpful in every moment and you have to be sure that we will recommend your travel agency to all of our friends.  The visit in the market of Yangshuo was very interesting. We didn’t′t see Yutou but we see a lot of things which I'll never forget.

The Li river cruise was amazing and also the Longsheng terrace fields. Of course the great wall was spectacular but if I have to choose, I prefer the country side and natural views. I like very much to see how people work and live and our time in the Guilin and Yangshuo area was perfect.

 All the hotels were very comfortable and they are situated in a very good place. My favorite was the Hotel Kapok in Beijing. Bravo Hotel was also very good, because it has fantastic views.

I have almost 2000 pictures to check!  I guess this week I will finish seeing them and I will send you the some of them.  I check the pictures one by one and I improve them by Photoshop programs, it's a hard work but I like it. It's a way to remember the trip again and again...
 
Once again I want to thank you your support in every moment. I really enjoy our holidays with China Highlights!!!
