Brain and I really enjoyed the trip with China Highlights. The guides who provided service way beyond what we were promised. The pickups and dropoffs to airport and train stations were so great! All of the accommodationwere good though, esepcially loved the Beijing courtyard most. I would say the Terra Cotta Warriors is most impressed (Brian made his dream come ture on his birthday), and i would like to tell everyone visiting Guilin,loved cycling and hiking around the beautiful Li River and peaceful countryside.

Our tour guide, Icy, she had a good knowledge of the sites and accommodated our pace. She went out of her way to provide us with information, flexibility and assistance with our tour.
Lily in Guilin was the most outstanding tour guide. Followed by Gerry An in Beijing. Lily treated us like family, was genuinely excited about her town. 'East, West, Guilin is the best'. She was approachable. I felt safe. She introduced us to an amazing light show and we were able to see some of the most beautiful scenery with her.
The biggest impression on Beijing is the people, so many in Beijing. The Great Wall was the most memorable attraction on the tour, we enjoyed the fact that everytime we walked out of somewhere our driver was there to meet us. One of the nights we went to the Acrobatic Theatre which was an amazing show. Our guide Lili also gave us further information where to go shopping in our free time.

It’s the first time we’ve been to China and we’ve really enjoyed the service. My favorite part was the bike ride on Xi’an City Wall. And my favorite part was the Terracotta Army in Xi’an and the Great Wall of China in Beijing. They also have really lovely tour guides and we really enjoyed our trip. So thank you.

We loved the part of Yichang we saw. The hotel is a standard western-style hotel with a Chinese accent on décor in the public areas and a mix of Chinese and Western food at all meal times. Food and service were good. The rooms were like any international hotel, comfortable but not inspiring. It was nice, however, to have a soft bed in China!
Activities were great fun. The staff concerts were wonderful, almost professional in design and execution. It was great to see what otherwise would have been hidden talent f the young people who served us. We also had fun in the Putongwha lesson, although I don’t think any of us could really hear or reproduce a correct tone!
