We are committed to giving our customers an authentic China experience not just something staged for tourists. Read feedback written by our customers about their experiences in China after they have returned home. These include the ratings and comments on attractions, guides, activities, hotels and food. Would you like to look at the tours that 1340 previous customer have recommended?
Dear Candy,
Thank you for helping us. The most memorable attraction I visited is Great Wall The most outstanding tour guide was Cindy in Shanghai. She was very informative at all times. She was willing to do whatever we wanted to do with regards to modifications to the tour. Hotel was great, restaurants were ok given that most of them were tied to some tourist trap. I will definetly recomend your company if my friends and relatives want to travel China.
Best Regards,
Dear Elaine, Thank you very much for arranging another memorable visit to China for Martin and me. We really enjoyed the trip! I promised William (our guide in Hong Kong) to return the evaluation form to you online as I thought I had packed it in my suitcase, but unfortunately I have must have mislaid it in our hotel room.
That being said, we missed Macao’s main attraction – the casinos – as Martin is under age. The most memorable attractions are obviously The Great Wall (which I also visited last year) and the terracotta warriors in Xian. The size of the pits and the number of figures really impressed me. One thing is to read about thousands of figures, but seeing them.
In addition the Shanghai Acrobatics stand out. They are incredible! All our guides were very good, and it is difficult to choose one as the best. Our Beijing guide (unfortunately I can not recall her name right now) probably had the best factual knowledge, while Jasmine (in Xian) had a very friendly style. We felt we were met by an old friend who really enjoyed showing us her home town. Hotels and meals were up to standard – as expected.
In a five star hotel you normally have a choice of coffee or chocolate without being charged extra. No other hotel ever charged for this. The best recommendation is clearly that I came back to you to book this tour only a year after my previous visit to China. The Shanghai Acrobatics and biking in Xian. Sorry, but my schedule unfortunately does not permit this.
Best regards Odd Martin
Hi Sunny,
Thank you for helping us organise such a great tour. All the guides and bus drivers you placed with us were very professional and helpful. Thank you again for the last minute changes you made to assist getting Robert Jones back to Portugal to meet his work commitments. As a group our favourite city was Xi’an. As an activity the Shoalin training was great and very much enjoyed. My personal favourites were – The Shoalin Training, The Yangtze Cruise and Xi’an.
We have posted some of the photo’s taken on our tour on the following sight and I will add more over the next week or so. Again thank you so much and I will be advising other people organising tours to go through your agency.
Yours truly, Matthew Ball
Dear Sunny,
The most memorable place we visited was the village high up in the mountains in Guizhou where indigo was being dyed and fabric being made. It was like an isolated paradise, beautiful in architecture, natural surroundings, and fascinating workmanship. Getting there was quite an experience too -- we were very grateful for Mr Yang's fantastic driving skills. Altogether an unforgettable adventure and outstandingly beautiful and peaceful. For me personally the best part of the trip was two afternoons where our wonderful guide Michael Liang arranged for me to meet Miao ladies who were embroidering and weaving (which are my hobbies) and sit with them to see them demonstrate their skills. We had a wonderful time which was very precious -- like having 'aunties' on the other side of the world! It has given me much inspiration and pleasure, and I will hope to come back to Guizhou.
Tour guide and driver: Michael Liang and Mr Yang are the best guide/driver imaginable, without question. They are kind, considerate, really pay attention to every detail their clients mention. They made great efforts so we could meet people doing the crafts we were interested in, made sure we were comfortable, and took every care with the hotel rooms and finding us great food. They listened to our questions and made everything go so smoothly. We cannot compliment them enough.
Definitely, we will recommend your company to our friends and we have done so before, and already doing so again!
Reocommendation for other travellers: We would highly recommend the Jinjiang Palace Museum in Guilin -- it is small but very well displayed and the guide gives an interesting commentary. It is not normally on the schedule for Guilin, but we found it was a very pleasant hour which added to our understanding of imperial China's history and culture. Caution: be careful about timing of Yangshuo trips -- namely, bike trip to/from Moon Hill does *not* take 40 mins return, as we were told: rather, it is at least 45 mins *each way*. On a hot day there is no point in climbing Moon Hill and if you do that as well as the bike ride, then the total time is about 4 hours -- our guide tried to start this trip at about 4 pm, which would have made it impossible to even have dinner at a decent hour that evening, not to mention leaving us hot and exhausted. We would have preferred to be given a choice of where and how long to bicycle -- to Moon Hill is just beside a highway so not so pleasant; maybe if some more country roads would have been better. Also there is no need to stay at a hotel in Guilin one night and in a hotel in Yangshuo one night -- better to stay in one place or the other for 2 nights as they are close enough to drive between.
Dear Sunny,
Thank you very much for this arranging the wonderful trip for me. I just wanted to say that I think you've done a fantastic job on this tirp! Your prompt and efficient help is greatly appreciated. If i do go to china again, I will definiltey book with you again.
Thanks again,
Michelle.
Dear Karen,
First of all thanks a lot for your great help in our trip to China. We have a great and wonderful trip in China. Following is what impressed me most.
Most memorable attractions:This is a really hard question because we consider all attractions memorable. Probably we consider The Temple of Heaven an amazing attraction.
The guide and driver service in Beijing: Our guide (Eleven) is an special person who made our trip really easy and comfortable. Collaborative, friendly and with a good knowledge about your culture. Our driver is a good professional and all the time was careful and friendly.
Recommendation of our services: Some of my friend are planning to visit China and I will contact them with your services.
The main recommendation to everybody is to have a guide because the communication with locals is difficult for the lack of English. Additionally I would like to highly recommend the Acrobatic show. We were at Redwall Hotel (Traditional Chinese room)
Best regards, Jairo Plata
Dear Karen,
There were so many memorable attractions we visited. The Great Wall, Forbidden City & The Temple of Heaven in Beijing were all very memorable. It was also good to see The Sacred Road again after 24 years and this time without any traffic and only a few people. Xi’an’s Terra cotta warriors were just as impressive the second time I have saw them. Margaret thought they were fantastic and was impressed by their scale.
The 6 hour drive around Qinghai Lake gave us an opportunity see some of remote China and meet some local people. The train trip to Lhasa was very enjoyable much better than we expected. The Potala Palace towering over Lhasa will leave a lasting impression on both of us. Leshan Giant Buddha was more impressive and larger than we expected.
The memory of cuddling Pandas in Chengdu is something that will last a life time. Walking around Lijiang’s streets looking for bargains was a highlight. We will remember the walk down the Yangtze’s Tiger-Leaping Gorge and climbing up the 28 bends as one of the best walks in the world for the fantastic scenery We will also remember how hard it was. (We needed to be fitter & we carried too much stuff because we did not know what we would need) Guilin, Li River and Yangshuo were also aspects of the trip that will ensure that we have good memories of our holiday in China. The Yangtze Three Gorges Cruise & Dam was very enjoyable and the dam very impressive. Xitang Water Town was more impressive and interesting then we expected, while Hangzhou and the west lake did not live up to my expectations partly because of the heavy overcast skies.
Wendy at Chengdu was our most outstanding guide, She was very attentive and helpful, little things like ring us about 10 minutes after we checked into to our hotels to check that we were happy with the rooms. Her command of English was excellent her pronunciation of some of the tricker English words was very good, She was always pleasant and very helpful ensured we fitted as much as possible in each day.
All the hotels were as good or better than I expected. The Bell Tower in Xi’an had the best location and the 5th Building in Mt.Emei the best appointed. Tina’s guest at house Walnut Grove (while not 4star) was better appointed than we expected. All the meals were very good.
All the places we saw were very good I would have liked to spend more time at some places (Summer Palace & Western Hills and more time at Mt Emei) The walk in tiger-leaping gorge was harder and longer than we expected (10 hours the first day) and 32 days is not long enough there is so much to see.
Regards
Cheryl,
Lisa and I are now in Shanghai (my business portion of our trip) but had an excellent experience during our visits to Beijing, Xian and Guilin. I would like to specifically acknowledge Lily, our guide in Guilin. She did an excellent job and really made us feel welcome. Lily was very knowledgeable of the local attractions and her food recommendations were great!

Hi Cheryl,
Many thanks for all your help organising my week round China. Once I made contact with the first guide, the travel logistics all went beautifully smoothly. I saw everything I wanted to and the guides were knowledgeable and communicative without being overbearing. From talking to them, there is obviously much more to see in China and I would certain contact you if I make a return visit.
Thanks again for all your help,
Steve McEvoy
