We had researched the various China tour groups, noting the stops that were of interest. We then attempted to find a tour group that would hit most of these spots. We found China Highlights and learned you would customize and coordinate a tour just for the two of us. Transportation, lodging and meals were arranged. A local tour guide and driver would meet us at each destination. The arrangements were outstanding and the guides were top notch and very personable. Who would believe we could have our own personal and customized tour of China at the same cost of a larger tour group.

He has given very high scores to Dennis because Dennis has a deep knowledge on Gansu/Chinese culture and Buddhist religion. But the most important thing is that, (when they can't go to Xiahe/Labrang), Dennis immedately planned a nice option (another monastery) and during the trip he has showed things (as the Flaming Mountains) that were not mentioned in the program. All these things, according to us and to our customers, make a VERY GOOD guide!!!
