The CH phone was very helpful especially when I got into a cab on a rainy night and forgot the taxi card from the Hotel. I gave Steve a call and he told the driver where I needed to go. Not sure how else I would have managed that.
We enjoyed many unexpected treats along the Yangtse such as the excellent meals, great day trips, and crossing through the locks of the Three Gorges Dam. All your arrangements worked perfectly and the guides who meet us at the airport in Chongqing and the dock at Yichang were charming and well qualified. With the help of the latter guide, we were able to visit a local museum in Yichang and see their collection of archeological specimens from the dam project.
Thanks very much for providing such a great tour. Great organization, great meals, a couple of the guides were outstanding- particularly in Guilin/Yangshou area along with the great lodging. We managed to see and photograph every day life in the ethnic villages which really was the focus of our plans. Great job and if we ever get back to China, we will definitely use your services again.
