We loved our Beijing tour and Joe our tour guide. He was super and so bright and informative. Our driver was nice and punctual and we had a wonderful time in Beijing.

The Great Wall, Terracotta Warriors, Shaanxi History Museum, Tibet as a whole, Shanghai Museum, Silk Museum, The Bund at night, and the light show at Yangzhou - the karsts were intriguing. In general, getting a better insight of China and its people and culture - a memorable and educational experience worth the full 26 days, to include Hong Kong.

On the other hand, the village of Hongcun is really a must; we spent a lot of time walking in the narrow streets. The best driver (and car) was in Hangzhou. The best guide was Michelle in Datong. An amazing point; the best Internet connection in the local guest house in Hongcun.
We had a private tour, which I highly recommend - this includes your very own driver and english speaking guide. The guides meet you at the airport, check you into your hotel (even accompany to your room in order to make sure everything is in order), and check you in for your next flight- not to mention giving you detailed information about the places you visit

As usual the guides were excellent and all transportation within China wonderfully on-time, clean and efficient. I always love visiting China--you make it a good experience.
I am so sorry that I have not gotten in touch with you since we returned. The trip was amazing and I want to write to you about it all later. I do plan to get with you all and thank you properly for our wonderful trip just as soon as things settle down.
