Our trip can be considered as “spiritual trip”, majorly visiting Buddhist temples and Buddhist attractions, such as Yungang Grottoes, Leshan Giant Buddha. They are all “WOW” and unforgettable, but the most memorable is The Temple Of Guanyin in Putuo Shan.

There were so many memorable parts of the trip e.g. learning calligraphy in Xian, walking the Tiger Leaping Gorge (and especially the gorge itself). But we particularly enjoyed Yangshuo. I enjoyed the boat ride from Guilin to Yangshuo and the cycle ride around the Countryside around Yangshuo, watching the men on their bamboo rafts and the unique landscape of the karst mountains.

In particular, since our (Judith Ong and my) arrival in Beijing on the 17th August 2012 and for our stay in the city, our tour guide Jack made us feel very welcome. He went out of his way to make the trip more enjoyable and convenient for us, and in a lot of cases, went beyond what was expected of him. I have commended him on his excellence, and would like you to know of his efforts in maintaining these high standards.

Pick up at hotel and transfer to pier went very smoothly! We really enjoyed our cruise. Thank you so much for all your help arranging everything!

Most memorable experience for me was definitely the Great Wall and the fantastic food in Beijing it. Ada recommended a great restaurant very close to our hotel and she even went through the effort of recommending menu for the evening this which was truly memorable.

I really nice Jiuxiang caves in the itinerary, and my guide was extremely helpful-- order meals at my hotels and local restaurant. This took a lot of fress out of expereince. Also Kunming city was a lot bigger than I expected and the traffic was terrible! I only saw a handful of Westerners when I was there and felt very strange walking down the street as people would stare and point at me! Staying there felt like an assault on my senses! I will recommend you and China Highlights to my friends, hope I can visit China again soon.

We would like to say that we're extremely pleased with China Highlights and the extraordinary service that Ruby Zhao has given to us. Ruby has been very knowledgeable, prompt with every question we had, let me tell you that Ruby has been very patient and kind with us,we had lots of questions and doubts that she easily resolved for us. She's a great lady and we would like to contact her for our future trips to China.
