the Crowne Plaza in Yantai is definitely a five star hotel, and we would recommend the accommodations and food service to anyone,the Beijing hotel was very centrally located, food was excellent, service and staff were outstanding, and the room was very quiet.The guide in Beijing (English name was Cathy) was excellent throughout. She was filled with information, shared that information at all times we were together, was always on time, and was just top rate. Similarly, the driver in Beijing was an outstanding driver, always on time, and regularly had the car cooled or at least “aired out” from the heat

We were very content with our last guide in Shanghai, except for the fact, that we had to go through the expo on our own. But otherwise he was very knowledgeable, understood our wishes (for bookstores and museums) and special conditions, and was quite experienced as a guide and still personal. We would choose him again.

She was quickly and easily able to answer off-the-wall detailed questions and she went out of her way multiple times to ensure we had the best time. It helped that we were in the same age group and shared common interests. It seemed like we were traveling with a friend not a tour guide.

My most memorable attraction was the shore excursion to the Three George Dam.It is an amazing feat of Chinese engineering and as an engineer myself, I was overjoyed to visit it.Also,the local quide was very .informative.However, I also very much enjoyed the excursion to the Lesser Three Gorges.I would like to recommend China Highlights family,friends or colleagues.Very well organized and professional company.Good value for money
