The “most memorable attraction” if you could call it that, was the early morning experience of bamboo rafting down a small river near the Li River.The mist still shrouded the mountains, there was total silence except for the dripping of the water as the oarsman lifted his pole out of the water.It was a transcendent experience, not only of China, but one of the highlights of my life.

This is the best tour itinerary for us, Panda Breeding Centre in Chengdu and the City Wall in Xi’anwas the most memorable attraction we visited. Charlie in Chengdu, she really made me feel welcome and wanted to make the tour perfect for me. She found the right balance between explaining the history of Chengdu and just having a good time! I cannot praise her enough! She was magnificent!

We really enjoined our trip very much and I want to thank you for the excelent itinerary you planned for us. Everything went so smoothly and without problems or delay. She is so nice and responsible, she went out of her way to buy a present for us a souvenir from China, from her own money.

Altitude is the biggest problem. We did'nt have altitude sickness, luckily, but something which has to be at the back of mind all the time in Tibet. the steep climbs in Potola Palace, and Everest base camp were tough. Radiation and Hydration next. These are more easily fixed with hats and drinking water regularly.

the location of the hotel, Sun world Hotel, is great, I would not change it for another location, particularly because the evening stroll along the Wangfujing is SO much fun.
