We are back in Australia after a wonderful visit to your magnificent country. Thank you for organising it for us and to your guides Sera, Vicky, Amy and Echo for their excellent attention during our trip. We are already thinking about our next visit in 2014 to Tibet via train from Shanghai. Hopefully you will be able to help us with that too.
So far our trip has gone very smoothly and we are having a fantastic trip. We are now at the Yangshou Mountain Retreat - Wow! What a special place.

Beijing … the warm celebratory welcome at the Shangri-La Hotel, from the “Welcome back, Mr. Gagnon” to the chocolate Happy Anniversary cake, bottle of French Bordeaux, card, flowers and box of chocolates in the room combined with photo-taking with and by the Horizon Club staff and a welcome serenade of Happy Anniversary” when we opened our door to our suite! … totally unexpected

Just sending a quick note to let you know that our trip is off to a great start in Beijing! Leo and the driver picked me up at the airport on Friday as planned and then we had two busy days sightseeing all over Beijing.
I just wanted to say how WONDERFUL Karen Yang has been in booking my tour. It took me forever to decide what I wanted, and I changed my mind several times. Karen was professional, and happy to help me. She customized my tour to meet my needs. I spoke with her several times on the phone and she was wonderful. She was quick to reply to me, and she kept following up with me to remind me. I really appreciate all of her help, and her great ideas!
With a little information about our likes and dislikes Karen created an exciting trip for us. She listened to everything we had to say, was prompt to reply and was happy to make changes as we requested. She has done a wonderful job and we really look forward to meeting Karen when in Guilin.

10 Days Shanghai, Huangshan, Hangzhou, Guilin, Longsheng, Yangshuo Tour
The tour sights that we specially enjoyed were the Longji Terrace Fields, the Li River cruise and the country side tour around Yangshuo. My wife was also very happy with the visit to the South China Sea Pearl Museum and Shop, and I particularly enjoyed the country side tour near Yangshuo. In fact, I found this tour rather short and would suggest that other choices of routes around the city might be offered.
Thank you so much for the photos. I will forward them. We enjoyed our time in Guilin and talked about it all the way to Huangshan and Beijing. You were one of our favorite guides.
