Icy in Beijing recommended a vegetarian restaurant to us and I think it had the best vegetarian food I've ever eaten. We loved Icy. Pan in Shanghai was great and he gave us an awesome tour, we loved it! We enjoyed our time with Chas. I gave him all 5's on his ratings but I lost the letter, he was also great!
We got back to England yesterday afternoon after an absolutely wonderful visit and I just wanted to thank you and all the staff involved in the trip.

A tour and a tour company are judged to a large degree by the quality of the guide. In my case, I was quite fortunate to have Jenny assigned as my guide. From the moment she greeted me at the airport to the time we said goodbye, she was a shear delight. I found her very well informed regarding the information she shared with me about her city as well as Chinese society in general. She was helpful at every turn, and she made my tour a shear delight.
I have been traveling the world for the past thirty years, and I have rarely had a tour guide the quality of Jenny.

Hi Doris, Overall we had an excellent time on our trip to and around China. It is a wonderful country to visit with so much history, and its own unique culture. We found people so helpful when we needed any assistance with directions etc, and many just wanted to talk to us to practice their own English! The choice of restaurants was great, with excellent food at each meal, and as promised we were not subjected to any shopping trips. Jerry, our guide in Beijing was outstanding, he was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and allowed us to take our time as we toured the exceptional sights in and around the city, and was always ready to go the extra mile to ensure that we had a great time. He was also the only guide to join us at lunch and dinner, so that we were also able to talk to him about everyday life in China and his views on the country's recent history, which helped bring the country to life for us. Foster in Guilin was a very good, entertaining and enjoyable guide, who obviously loved his home city and its surrounding environment. He had great pleasure in showing us around, and made his part of the trip a pleasure - even Foster could not stop the torrential rain on the 2nd morning though! In Shanghai, Rooney the guide was very good, but everything on his agenda could have comfortably been done in 1 day instead of 2. He did explain when we met him that this would be "a very easy visit". Indeed, the only thing we did on the 2nd day was to go to the Yuyuan Gardens, and we could have done this on the first day as well if he had had the tickets with him. I also found you very easy to work with when compiling the trip, and your promises were all kept regarding no shopping trips, and all meals at local restaurants. However, I can say that we enjoyed our tour in Beijing, and thank you for organising it so efficiently and quickly.
We had a great experience. Both tour guides (Gerry Ha in Beijing) and (Wallace Zhang in Xi'an) were wonderful. Their expertise and attentiveness to detail made our days very enjoyable.
I learn a lot about chinese people, the guides were very good.Thanks for your help and professionalism, specially to fix the misunderstanding with the spanish guide.The agency is very recommended
