It was so wonderful to enjoy all of the local cuisine with our guides’ help in ordering at restaurants. We would never have been able to do this type of trip on our own, due to our lack of speaking Chinese. The guides were able to take us to local restaurants and neighborhoods, giving us independence, but still “watching out for” our needs.
