Our biggest thrill was our visit to the pandas at Chengdu. It was a lovely day and the animals were at their best, especially the cubs frolicking with their mother. Our guide, Phoebe, was very helpful, taking us to exactly the best places to see the animals. Then she organised a trip to the Chengdu Opera which was enjoyed by all - what talent and skill the performers had!

The highlight of our trip was definitely The Great Wall of China. Words do not do it justice. It’s an attraction that needs to be seen with one’s own eyes. All the attractions, restaurants, and accommodations were fabulous. China is a thriving country and I look forward to seeing how it’s going to evolve in the years to come.
