Our tour guide in Xian, Cathy, was very good. She made contact with another tour guide who was working for some friends of ours, and re-scheduled one of our dinners and coordinated with the other tour guide so we could join our friends for a dumpling dinner and show.
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the great service you and China Highlights gave us on our recent trip to China. As you know, our family traveled with Bob Sipos and his family.
This will be our 4th time to travel with Chinahighlights and all thanks to Lily Guo. She is the reason we have chosen your company to discover China and Taiwan. She always go the extra mile to accomodate our needs and to arrange us perfect holidays.
We give a lot of thanks to Delia who was able to get us relocated and much thanks and praise especially to Louis, our guide who certainly had to deal with many more things that he was hired for or expected to deal with. He had to deal with the manager from the Grand Continental who was insisting that we stay and saying he had better rooms and had to find transportation for 7 people to get across town at approximately 12:00 midnight.
We had an amazing time. We loved all of the sites we got to visit and everything was so convenient. Our guide Lucy in Beijing was very good. She was very honest and we never felt like she would try to get us to go anywhere but what was on our itinerary. It was an incredible experience to be able to see the history and sites in China!
Lily handled these all with great timing and help. During our trip we required extra train tickets which she arranged very promptly, then John and I decided to change an overnight train trip to a flight and Lily meet with us after hours and arranged this for us along with suitable accommodation. Her follow up to ensure our trip was going as planned was very much appreciated.
We had a wonderful time on our trip, and I just wanted to thank you for all your help! Our guide in Guilin was also fabulous. Lele, I believe he said he works with you, but he was absolutely wonderful. Please give him our highest praise!
Doris is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and prompt with replies to questions. If all of our tour through China Highlights is as good as our experience with Doris it will be excellent.
I am in Kyoto and fly back to the US tomorrow. I had a great time in China thanks to you, and I am grateful for all your support throughout. Thanks for everything!
But we were met at every stop with wonderful guides and drivers who made your trip a delight. What made the trip more special was that our guides were from local minority groups, Bai, Tibetan (one had been a monk for five years), who gave us insights on local life.
