Hi Delia,
When we arrived home after going on a 24-day long trip it made us feel quite tired. It is a challenge for the four of us to sleep overnight on a train and plane two nights in a row. Finally we are coping well.
Yellow Mountain of course was the big wow factor for us. We thought that we were going to have bad luck as the Weather Bureau predicted rain. However, there were fantastic breaks in the poor weather that gave us just enough time to take lots of amazing pictures, so don't be mislead by the weather report.
I thought that the last 2 days of the itinerary featured similar attractions and it probably could've taken 1 day to visit them, so that might be the only suggestion for improvement I can make.
The five tour guides have done their best to make us happy. Libby is the one who looked after us until the very last minute. She not only actively brought up relevant information during the trip but was also more considerate than other guides and brought us extra bottles of water for the next day. The food at Lu bo Lang Restaurant was delicious and tasty and worth a return visit.
I will definitely recommend your company and travel advisor Delia Xie to my friends in future. I'm happy to act as your reference

Dear Eva,
In short, we enjoyed our first visit to China a LOT! The most memorable attraction we visited is Great wall and Terracotta Warriors. Unfortunately, we have had an overcast day on the Wall, but I intend coming back to Beijing, just for a photographic trip to the Wall. And your representatives have been extremely helpful. Kattie - what a wonderful chatty (talking) lady. She chatted away with great ease, and we enjoyed her stories. Lee - Cool, calm, super professional, and she knew her stories. She was probably the best of the 3 (very good) tour guides. Rainy - Another excellent choice of Tour Guide. Her command of English was the best of the three. So, all in all, we were thrilled by the three guides and we thank you for allocating them to us. We booked 5 star accommodation and the Beijing and Shanghai hotels were magnificent.
For us to be in our own vehicle with our own Tour Guide made us felt like Kings. We loved the attention and support from your tour guides. We were so impressed that all 3 of them insisted staying with us until we were actually booked in on the plane. That is Super service, thanks.
Yes, absolutely. We intend using you again in the future, and as mentioned above, I would like to make up a private tour of 12 - 14 South African friends.
I will see if I have some good photos to share with your website. I have taken about 3000 photos and need to sift through it all, discarding about 90% of them before the good ones will emerge.
Regards,
Charl
Hi, Jean,
We just returned from China. We enjoyed our China tour very much!
The most memorable attraction we visited in China is the Great Wall and Teracotta Army. The guide in Beijing and Xian-Very knowledgeable and good spoken English..
No one should miss the attractions like Great Wall,Toracotta and Summer Palace. I will be glad to recommend your company to my friends who are also interested in China.I am also very happy to share my experience. Please feel free to have your potential customers to contact me if necessay

Dear Grace,
Sorry for the delayed response....catching up on work and due to Muslim New Year, staff all on leave and there were only two of us left to man the office.
Huangshan was the most memorable attraction we visited during the tour. The Most outstanding was Allan in Suzhou but generally all the guides were good and they have their own strengths in different ways. For example in Jiangziajie - Sunny, although her English was not excellent, she tried to express herself quite well...she reacted very well when on the way to airport we came across an accident and we were advised by the Police that they don't know when the traffic would clear, she asked the driver to go by the village way (long and winding) and along the way, she also had to help to direct the vehicles as none could pass without any direction in view of its narrow road. Journey was longer for us. We still manage to go for our massage but missed out on dinner. We even learned how to sing a song on the way to the airport. Any chance you can contact her and ask her to write it down in 'pin yin' for us so that we can still sing the song. She did write it down in mandarin for one of our co-member.
Bund Hotel in Shanghai was the best with its wide choice of breakfast. The best lunch was in Suzhou organised by Allan. We only had 5 minutes to go before closing time but Allan managed to wrangle through and insisted that we have the lunch at this restaurant when the reception made so much noise that we did not have the booking there and that we were late. It was the best lunch we had. The wow factor is the lunch we had in Suzhou when Allan insisted we have lunch there as we did tell him we could go somewhere else if the restaurant was not willing to serve us. We enjoyed the shopping in Yuyuan Garden and went there twice during our short stay in Shanghai.
Thanks again for your help. We have been most happy with your service.
Rgds

PS:I have also told my cousins who came from Perth recently that should they want to go to China, do contact me for your email address as we have been most happy with China Highlights services todate.
Dear Virginia
We have just arrived home and our Beijing trip is still fresh in our mind. We were so pleased that everything went perfectly to plan. We were very happy to see the China Highlight sign with our names on it when we emerged to the baggage claim area at Tianjin port. Our guide Sue was so helpful and within minutes we had our luggage packed away in the car and were heading for Beijing before 9 a.m.!! It was a very chaotic place, and we were pleased to see the lovely car and driver.
We would probably have gone home after one day if we had not booked your tour.! The different sites that we covered were a long way apart and with no local knowledge or language we could not have seen all the attractions!. Our highlights were numerous; The Great Wall ; the acrobatic show; the Summer Palace;Tiannamen Square during the Anniverary celebrations; Pandas at the zoo;Olympic venues; Hutong tours.
Our guide Sue was a very knowledgable young lady with a great sense of humour, and the driver who although he did not speak English was very helpful and good hearted.
We would be very pleased to recommend your company to friends or acquaintances and we will travel with you again when we come back to China.
Hotel staff were helpful and courteous and the only fault we had there was the air conditioner in the room. It did not cool the room ,and we reported that fact. We were told that it had been fixed, but it still did not reduce the temperature. The fan worked well, but it was just a fan; no reduction in temperature. Fortunately the weather was very pleasant and only during the night it was very warm.
We would like to give permission for our email address to be available for potential customers, and we will share some photographs with you when they become available.
We met several other couples onboard the Diamond Princess who had booked tours with your company and all were very happy with the services provided!
Congratulation to all concerned on a job well done.
Yours sincerely
Trevor and Jean
Hi Michael,
I think the Mutianyu Great wall, Sacred Way, Lingyin Temple are the most memorable attraction we visited.
John in Beijing is our best tour guide. He was efficient, very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He was the perfect tour guide. John's service was very impressive, the convenience of all the hotels to main shopping and attractions, and having the convenience of the 'private tour'. Also, the treasure houses and the the art in all the various temples we went to, along with the knowledge of the tour guides. Having the bottled water was a nice touch. Sam in Hong Kong was also very good for our one day. The driver in Beijing (Mr. Ma) was also excellent.
Beijing: Sunworld Hotel was clean and very convenient. The buffets were very good. The meals on the tour were fine. We enjoyed the last restaurant in Beijing the best (don't know the name of it). John was excellent in ensuring we obtained our meals quickly by pre-ordering, and always ensure our meals arrived and we were well set up before he left to eat.
Hangzhou: The Hotel in Hangzhou did not meet our standards - we had to ask to be moved due to excessive noise from outside, and the only room available was a smoking room (we requested non smoking). It was also not as clean as we would have liked. The buffet was okay, very crowded and unfortunately not very sanitary (our noodles had mold on them one day). We did not enjoy our meals very much in Hangzhou - the taste did not meet our tastebuds, and the service was slow.
Hong Kong: YMCA in Hong Kong was very clean and convenient, the buffet was good. No noise issues despite the construction. We ate meals on our own.
We really enjoyed our cooking class at the Jingsong Vocational High school - it was something different and unexpected. The silk market in Beijing is also great. In Hong Kong - Ladies market, Ocean Park and Flower street are fun places to go. Doing the one day tour of Hong Kong is a great way to get to know the city and give you ideas on places to go later on in your trip.
Again, thanks for such a great trip.
Best regards.
Ami
Dear Karen,
Thanks for your organization of our (mine and of my collegue Gennaro)visit to Tibet. It was perfect, with a very good guide Ms. Wueshe. The travel in Tibet was very satisfying. Both the Tibet in general and the Mt. Everest Camp were really impressive. We did not experience particular difficulties. We had only some problem in breathing but nothing else. Note that going there we passed a mountain pass at an altitude of 5240 mt.
Now i am planing anther tour to Sanya, would you please give me a general idea? Thanks for your help in advance!

Hi,Caorl,
We are having a wonderful time touring with Harry. He has given us excellent service and we feel that we would like to recommend him to others. Thank you for assigning him to us.
His knowledge of history is good, he knows what interests us because he listens carefully to our questions. When he has any trouble with pronunciations in English, he asks us to correct him. That is a very good characteristic in a guide. Thank you again, China Highlights.
Lenora
Hi Karen
The trip was great and all arrangements were perfect. Thanks.
Please let your administration know that Echo in Xian went out of her way to locate a package I had left on the small bus from the airplane to the terminal building. She found it and it was delivered to us when we left Xian on Thursday evening.
I am sorry that we did not see the Pandas – we did not realize that Chengdu was so close. People we met on the boat said they are a 2 hour train ride away – pity.
Thanks
June
Hi Eva,
Thank you for the amazing trip I had in China; I am already looking forward to coming back again in the future and as soon as I can afford to come!I talked my credit problem over with the company and they are going to be crediting me almost half of the money they charged back to me which is a very good thing!
My most memorable time was the time I spent in Guilin, no one single thing but rather the entire 3 days I spent here!Guilin is tied for my favorite places with Honolulu Hawaii. Claire (Wei Mei Ping) she was absolutely amazing!! I had such a great time talking and hanging out with her. With all the other tour guides it was they were the tour guide and me the tourist more and with Claire she became my friend and had a great time showing me sights. We will be staying in touch now too. My favorite hotels were the Guiling Bravo Hotel and Sunworld Hotel in Beijing. Both of these hotels were different than the other but both had amazing service and provided a great experience. The bike tour in Yangshou was great, you get to see the country side and the real side of chinese culture away from the cities. The local farmers were very friendly and obliging to stop their work and chat. I have already recommended China Highlights to all my friends and told them they should all visit china and that your tour company did an amazing job. Some suggestions for future travellers would be to pack lighter because they will have a lot of gifts to bring home, definitely take the bike tour in Yangshou and to watch the Karate Show in Beijing.
Thanks again for everything Eva! I had a fantastic time and I cant wait until I can come back again.Take care,
Kurt
