Note:
- Tour guide working hours: 8 hours per day. An extra charge of RMB100 per group for each extra hour after 8 hours is payable.
- Tips is not included in the tour guide service fees. You have no obligation to tip, however in China (contrary to views often expressed), guides and drivers do expect a tip. Failure to tip will be taken an indication that the service has been unsatisfactory.
- Those customers wishing to tip often ask us for an indication of how much to tip. The usual tip would be in the region of 80 to 150 RMB per day to a guide and half the amount to a driver; a separate offer to each is best.

What services do Beijing private tour guide provide?
- The tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at pre-arranged time. Please inform us of your hotel in Beijing, date for the service and your preferred tour starting time. Usually our tour guide will call you in the evening one day before your tour to confirm the starting time and meeting point.
- Tour guides are our representatives "on the ground". He/She will make all the necessary arrangements trying to ensure that your tour is all you want it to be. They will accompany you to the attractions and will provide interesting information about China and the sights while ensure that you have nothing to worry about.
- Tour guides give advice on where to eat or shop.
- Tour guides can book your night show tickets.
How to Book and Pay For Tour Guide Service in Beijing?

- On receiving your inquiry, one of our travel advisors will respond within one working day with detailed information and a quotation based on the information that you have supplied.
- Methods of Payment: Paypal online, pay by credit card or wire transfer. Please check our Methods of Payment here.
- A Confirmation Letter will be sent once your booking is confirmed. The tour guide’s contact number as well as travel advisor’s phone number will be included in the Confirmation Letter. The tour guide will call you the evening before you are due to meet, to confirm the tour starting time and meeting point.
What should I do if I can not find my guide?
At your hotel lobby: Our guides will surely be waiting for you at your hotel lobby. However, if for some extraneous reason you cannot find our tour guide, then please call our toll free number for help. It would be wise to keep a contact list with our office number on it in an accessible place in the unlikely event that you have a problem.
At scenic areas: Some of the popular tourist spots in Beijing can be crowded during the peak seasons and China's public holidays. Some guests may lose their guide in a crowd. When you find the guide is not with you and can not find he or she in the immediate area, please follow the following steps.
- First of all, Don't Panic'. Relax and breathe. Realize that your guide is not far away and he or she is actively looking for you. You will be found soon.
- Secondly, stay where you are and let the guide find you. Do not move far away. This will ensure that you are found in a timely manner.
- Lastly, if there seems to be a problem with your guide finding you, find the nearest phone and call our free toll number and your travel advisor will help you to find the guide.
