3-Day Tianjin Cruise Port Private Transfer & Beijing Excursion

Your cruise will disembark at Tianjin Xingang Port. Our guide will meet you at the port exit and transfer you to Beijing city by our private van. The guide will give a brief introduction of Beijing during your 3 hours'ride. After checking in at the hotel, head to visit the city highlights – the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Tiananmen Square is the largest city square in China and a place where significant events are held. The flag-raising and flag-lowering ceremony is the most magnificent of rites. Then we step into the Forbidden City which is the best preserved imperial complex in China. It holds 90 palaces and courtyards, 980 buildings and 8,704 rooms which are lined symmetrically on the south-north central axis. Return to the hotel after the tour. Dinner is at your own arrangement.

Today we will drive 2 hours to the less visited Great Wall section – Mutianyu. Mutianyu Great Wall is one of the best preserved sections which maintains the features of the Ming Dynasty. It has a rarely seen structure among all sections of the Great Wall with three connected watchtowers. A round trip cable car is included to help you up and down. Lunch is at a great local restaurant which offers local farmhouse dishes. You have the opportunity to visit the biggest Cloisonné factory and see the items being manufactured by the craftsmen. We will drive back to visit the Temple of Heaven afterwards. The Temple of Heaven is the most holy of Beijing's imperial temples where the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties came every winter solstice to worship Heaven and to solemnly pray for a good harvest. We will transfer you back to the hotel after this one day tour.
